The holidays are coming upon a lot of us too quickly. Even Clay Aiken is having to do some schedule juggling.

The "American Idol" runner-up was supposed to kick off his Joyful Noise holiday tour on Sunday, Nov. 21 in Pasadena, Calif. to support his new album "Merry Christmas with Love."

However, damaged vocal chords brought on by ear and sinus infections and made worse by a book tour promoting his recently published memoir, "Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life," have caused him to cancel the first three dates. He will cross Pasadena, El Cajon, Calif. and Phoenix off his list.

The tour will now begin on Friday, Nov. 26 in Costa Mesa, Calif. Those holding tickets for the canceled dates shouldn't despair, as his management is working to reschedule.
